Game On 13 welcomes Sky Ellazar, graduated from University of Maryland in 2018. Originally from Maui, Hawaii where she started playing baseball at the age of 3. She played baseball all the way through the age of 13 before permanently making a switch to fast-pitch softball.
Sky graduated with a bachelor’s in criminology and Criminal Justice with a focus on juveniles. While at Maryland she was a 3-year starter where she played all over the infield for the Terps. As a Terp she made the record books where she ranked #3 all time for career batting (.333) average as well as #2 for single season batting average (.399). In her final season as a Terp she was appointed to All-Big 10 second team.
Sky is currently a member of the Philippine National Team. In 2017, she won a silver medal in Asian Championships with the Pilipinas. In her three years on the team, they defeated multiple top 10 teams in the world such as Canada, Australia, Puerto Rico, China & Chinese Taipei. They are currently on their journey to qualify for the 2020 Olympics.
Sky is now pursuing her Masters in Sports Business Management at Manhattanville University where she an Assistant Coach under head Coach Dale Martin.
