RAYMOND COURTNEY

TRAINER

Raymond comes to you from the Bronx, NY.  He was a four year Varsity starter at The Bronx High School of Science and played for the Bayside Yankees, where he won two different national championships.  He pitched his way into an athletic scholarship at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  He was a two year conference starter at FDU. Raymond had professional workouts with a multitude of professional teams.  He was forced to give up these hopes & dreams due to an injury.

Raymond began his coaching career and has coached teams of ages anywhere from 10-18.  He currently is coaching the 15U Diamond Buddies Hawks. Raymond still plays now in both the Westchester Rockland Wood Bat League and the Hudson River Baseball League.

Raymond loves nothing more than shaping the games of young pitchers and hitters.  While in the cage, he tries to make sure to teach the kids as much as he can, while also making sure he teaches the children to have fun.  Raymond hopes to instill the same passion that he has for the game into every child that walks through the door.  He tries to help the children succeed as athletes, as well as people.
