Redmond enters his first season as an assistant coach at Manhattan College. He will be working with the hitters and all aspects of team defense. For the past 2 seasons, Redmond has served as an Assistant coach at UMass Lowell. His responsibilities there include coaching the infielders and assisting with hitting and base running. During his time there, the River Hawks set a D1 program record for wins in a season. 

In the summer of 2017, Redmond was the hitting coach for the Bourne Braves of the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League. The Braves lost in the championship series in a heartbreaker to the Brewster Whitecaps. He has also coached various other collegiate summer leagues including the NYCBL and the Shenendoah Valley league. In addition, Redmond has made coaching stops in the Junior College ranks (Onondaga CC and Shoreline CC.)

The Lansing, NY native played collegiately at Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY. Redmond was a 3-year starter in the infield and helped the program to its first NE-10 conference championship. That same season, the team set the program record for wins. Redmond was named all-conference and a team Captain in his final season.

While working towards his Master’s Degree at Le Moyne College, Redmond served as a batting practice pitcher for the Syracuse Chiefs, the AAA affiliate of the Washington Nationals.
